New players are constantly being released in FUT 23 and the overall strength of teams is constantly increasing. This means that even if you had an amazing team at the beginning of the season, it is now likely outdated. As a result, to make it to the top 100 in FUT Champions you need to have one of – if not – the best squads in the game. Some players like Prime Gullit or Prime Ronaldo are always on the top, but normal cards like Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi will be outperformed by other players just a few weeks of the initial release of the game.

Rather, I am referring to having a good understanding of how the game works and being able to make the right decisions in-game. This is what will give you an edge over your opponents and help you win more matches.

This includes things like learning the basic controls, understanding how player movements work, and knowing what each button does. The better you understand the game, the easier it will be for you to make the right decisions in-game.
Learn the bugs and glitches of the game in and out
Yes, there are glitches such as the kick off glitch which can help you score goals easily. And yes, there are also bugs such as the ball disappearing bug which can cost you a goal. It is important that you know about all of these so that you can use them to your advantage or avoid them if they happen to you.
Watch videos and streams on Twitch or YouTube
Several professional players and YouTubers offer their knowledge and experience for free. Use this to your advantage and watch as many videos/streams as you can. Not only will you learn new things, but you will also be able to see how the best players in the world play the game.
Focus, don’t get too emotional
Just conceived a stupid goal? Don’t worry, it happens to everyone. The important thing is that you don’t let this affect you and your performance in the match. Getting too emotional will only make you more likely to make mistakes. So stay focused and don’t get tilted! I know this is difficult as sometimes the players don’t do what you wanted them to do.
Practice, practice, practice
This is probably the most important point. The more you play, the better you will get. So make sure to play as often as you can and try to improve with each match.
